The President is finding out that the majority of Americans aren't as easy to sway as the terminally stupid he dealt with as an Acorn organizer.
I know this sounds harsh but Mr. Obama hasn't left me any other alternative. Last night he did his best to try to convince anyone watching that he was doing this, health care reform, for the American family and no one else, is that like going out and getting one for the Gipper. He did allude that we would all have to sacrifice and that there would be some insignificant changes in the way health care would be delivered under his plan, although he would not elaborate as to what he means by sacrifice and as the old saying goes 'there ain't no way he'll discuss the delivery issue'. The best part of the speech was when he said his program was actually going to be less expensive and there would be no sacrifice in the care, so if there is no sacrifice in care what are we going to have to sacrifice, my best guess is a substantial amount of our income in the form of heavy taxes to pay for this loser.
The best part of the whole evening was afterward when the pundits and analysts took over and tried to make sense of what had been said. Fox had no idea of what was said, their people said the speech failed to give any substantive points and that they were still in the dark as much as their viewers. Then I turned to MSNBC and Chris Matthews the guy who knows everything liberal and progressive who himself was unable to make heads and tails of the Presidents speech and couldn't get an answer out of any of the guests on his panel to include Dr. Nancy Snyderman, who said the President said nothing in his speech. America is finally waking up to what they elected in an emotional moment.
As an organizer he could get a crowd all worked up with the promise of free stuff, he mistakenly has underestimated mainstream America thinking they would go for the same hollow promises.

I was going to cover Gov. Sanford but after reading the NAACP article about Obama's speech I couldn't pass it up.
When people don't have to work for anything they become lazy and 'expect little from themselves', here's a case in point. Watch immigrants who are eastern Europeans, real Africans from Africa and Asians when they come to this country. The first thing they do almost to the last person is get a job, however menial they get a job. Then they set about learning the language and educating themselves. As they advance they move up in society and most importantly assimilate into the mainstream. No matter how hard government statisticians try they cannot deny that people coming to America who have not been exposed to various 'welfare' type programs go on the succeed.
Now I ask Mr.Obama and the leadership of the NAACP, whats so hard about that. Why aren't they preaching those tenets to their 'people'. As long as the government continues pushing entitlement programs on the black community, black Americans will continue to be held down, you can call them whatever you want but I choose to call the programs a subtle form of slavery. Sometimes looking in from the outside is the best way to identify problems. Racism does exist, there's no denying it, but not anywhere near the proportions that our government officials would lead us to believe. The vast majority of Americans would like to see all Americans and that especially includes black Americans, to succeed and that's a fact that even our self styled 'Messiah', President Obama can't refute.

All those payoffs to our politicians and government people from the Mexican government and cartels have really borne some bitter fruit!
I'm sure they thought this arrangement would go on forever, up until Felipe Calderon was elected Mexican Presidents were forever greasing the palms of our elected on their show trips to Washington DC. The most memorable in the recent past to me anyway, was the visit by Vincente Fox when he visited then 43 in an effort to convince him to leave the borders open, not to stem the flow of illegals, but to keep the usual unobstructed flow of drugs coming into the US.
Mexico has 11 thousand dead since Felipe Calderon took power and sent the military after the cartels. I don't know how much effort the US is putting into stopping the movement of drugs on this side of the border but my guess is that it isn't enough. Our borders were never beefed up adequately after 9/11 and the Border Patrol has been shorted in manpower all along in what appears to be an accommodation to the corrupt officials on the other side of the border by our corrupt officials on this side of the border. The incident that really gets me is the Fox-Bush meeting when 'W' caved on all border issues to that mustachioed weasel, I guess you might call it professional courtesy.
We need to take a most aggressive stance in the war on drugs for the first time in our history. Our DEA has never been able to adequately do it's Job and like our modern military is pulled back and the enemy allowed to carry on their activities just when you have them in a position to render them incapable of further action. I don't know if the Obama people have the balls that are necessary to deal with this situation as it requires the harshest of measures, I can only hope so.

There's no chance of the 'New GM ' failing with US and Canadian government backing and 20 billion of taxpayers money, is there Uncle Marvin?
GM if you will remember was for many years the largest industrial company in the world, they lost the title to Exxon/Mobil and then went to work and won it back. It appears that somewhere along the way the title went to the heads of the heads of the 'Old GM' and they hatched a plan with their counterparts in the other US car companies to see who could produce the worst cars. Ford had the title for a while, recall the original exploding Ford Fiesta, followed by a string of ugly unreliable road boats. Then we have Chrysler who took the contest so seriously that they never made a decent car again. But GM wouldn't be outdone, and because of their size and resources they set about the task of not only producing the most lackluster line of cars in history but their corporate heads in a move to win hands down drove the company out of business.
To make sure the company moves forward in the 'right' direction Fritz Henderson the mild mannered CEO who has difficulty answering a direct question as to where GM cars will be manufactured (he always says "we would like to make our cars where we sell them") and is himself an old GM guy, has brought in the legendary Bob Lutz to help in reshaping GM or should I be saying, shaping the 'New GM', here's a little bit of history on this living legend. Mr. Lutz was the CEO of Exide Technologies until they filed for bankruptcy, was President of Chrysler Corporation where he developed the 'company saving' vehicles, the Dodge Viper, The Plymouth Prowler and the LH platform automobiles which all helped lead to Chrysler's demise. Wow, all this big auto industry news has really helped to solidify my opinion. GM has no chance whatsoever, they're are recycling the same doof's that brought down one company after another. I wonder how long it will take to get Rick Wagoner involved in some capacity.

Good 'deals' with the Pharmaceutical and Hospital companies equals bad 'deals for America, and am I going to have to drop my PPO for a Gov run HMO....
I have some very serious reservations about the deals that are being made by the Obama administration with the Pharmaceutical and Hospital companies. I guess the largest issue is that not one of people involved in putting this initiative together will give any details as to what is being proposed and how the average John Doe will navigate this new so called better health care system. To get the media off their backs they will tell you that there will be virtually no change than what you have today. You don't have to change your present plan, get to choose your own doctor, although they allude to the entire system being likened to the infamous HMO system which was a nightmare and the care in most cases was somewhere south of pathetic.
Once upon a time I was in an HMO when I had been out of work for a short time and was very po', I did some rather extensive research as to why there was such a gap between PPO (Preferred Provider Organization) and HMO (Health Maintenance Organization) because I couldn't understand why such a difference existed. In short the HMO approach is based on more patients and less service while the PPO approach is based on fewer patients and better service. The reason I bring this up is that our fine elected officials have on several occasions tried to convince us, America, that the HMO system can be more effective than what we presently have, if this monkey f_ _k manages to pass how many of our elected officials will get their health care from the government plan, my guess is none.
The system is supposed to be paid for by people making 200 thousand and up with adjustments for couples making more, but just a few months ago our elected officials were using a 250 thousand number. Even the most liberal Democrat will admit that the number will probably be considerably lower if the plan takes effect as the amount to make the program go is beyond the average persons wildest imagination.
Since no real details of the deals with the Pharmaceutical and Hospital companies are being made public I can only imagine how much money has either changed hands or will be over a set period of time. One thing I can say for sure and that is the Pharmaceutical and Hospital companies will not come out on the short end of the stick, the American taxpayers will.

Is a second stimulus plan like getting off twice in one night?
Then the 'always got an answer' Juan Williams, NPR and Fox News contributor, thinks giving another round of unemployment benefits is in order, and that a second stimulus may be just what the economy needs, great Juan but what about the jobs leaving like cockroaches from a burning building and no guarantee that this next trillion dollar blast will do anymore than the first other than leave us with a tax bills on our backs like millstones from hell.
There are those in Congress like the Majority Leader the Honorable Steny Hoyer of Maryland, a typical east coast BS Artist, thinks a second round would be just the thing to jolt the economy out of the recession, however the never cautious but now for some reason reflective Harry Reid, Harry is having a tough go getting re-elected, says he doesn't know if the second round is needed because 'shoots of economic recovery are now appearing above the ground, how Waldenesque Harry, how eloquently he spews his brand of bull s_ _t.
Well, with Obama stated unemployment approaching 10% things are not working out as well as the Hope & Change crowd hallucinated, real economists will be happy to tell you that the real unemployment number right now is over 15% and that the 'shoots of recovery' if there at all, are very small, Harry must have some kind of 'super' vision'. Our elected officials need to get out of Washington for a dose of reality and talk to the voters and those who have lost their jobs and are living in fear of their lives going down the proverbial drain. If Americans have any brains left they will vote everyone of these gas bags out of office in the coming elections in 2010 & 2012.

I felt so good after launching this blog I've just got to say 'Thank you sir I'll do another'
There were several pundits who thought it is a good idea to have our Congressmen and women traveling abroad to get an idea as to how the rest of the world thinks and lives, so maybe a trip or two would be OK but how about economy lodging in these times of financial meltdown, cut the entourage to a minimum, dispense with the fanfare. I can't imagine what her excuse will be, maybe to cover her staffers and security staff---that won't work because any sane thinking American knows that these trips are nothing more than paid for vacations where nothing is accomplished other than the Congresswoman and her staff getting fat of European cooking and getting out of the country for as few days to avoid questions as to why they are destroying our future.
We've had it too good for too long and we as a nation have been lulled into a state where we believe the rants and ramblings of smooth talking politicians and their lies that they are working on our best behalf. Obama and his Socialist rangers will strip most of our important freedoms if allowed, wake up America.
